Natural Cellulite Eliminating Juice

Apples are a great body detoxifier largely in part to their high pectin content, which helps to flush the digestive tract. By adding fennel, spinach, parsley and ginger we get an incredible cellulite busting juice! Here’s why:



Fennel is great for weight loss or maintaining body weight and is considered a diuretic and detoxifier.

Spinach improves muscle tone, digestion and is a great energy booster. Parsley is a blood purifying superfood that clears the arteries, maintains blood vessel elasticity and helps clear kidney stones.

Fresh ginger is one of the best ingredients for clearing the body of toxins.



Keep in mind that fresh spinach does contain oxalic acid, which, in combination with certain minerals, iron, magnesium and potassium, forms oxalates. Oxalates can contribute to the formation of kidney stones, so the consumption of fresh spinach isn’t recommended for individual’s prone to this condition. Spinach does have high calcium content, however oxalates can reduce calcium absorption. We recommend lightly steaming or freezing the spinach prior to consumption to reduce oxalic acid levels. If you’re looking to increase your calcium and iron intake we recommend incorporating foods rich in vitamin C, such as citrus, into your diet. 

You should also avoid ginger if you suffer from high blood pressure or diabetes.

INGREDIENTS (single serving):

2 green apples
1 bulb fennel
1 handful fresh parsley
1 handful baby spinach
½ lemon
2 cm ginger root



PREPARATION:

Chop the apple and fennel into smaller pieces.
Run all the ingredients through either a regular blender, or a cold press juicer.
Garnish the juice with a slice of lemon and a few parsley leaves.
